Homeschool Collaboration Program

Now registering grades K-5 for the 2018/2019 school year.

WHAT IS A HOMESCHOOL COLLABORATION PROGRAM?

Our Homeschool Collaboration Program is a two-day program and meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am- 3:00pm. This program is designed to allow teacher and parents to create a plan which is specifically designed around each student’s individual needs, level, and pace. Each school day, the student will spend a few hours with their teacher (and other students in their grade level) to review skills, learn new concepts, and create a plan of instruction for the days when they will be learning from home. The teacher will also have “office hours” on the alternate days (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) when students and parents can speak directly to the teacher to ask specific questions about that day’s assignments.

During the second half of the school day, students will join the traditional class (in their grade level) and will be able to participate with them during lunch, recess, Bible class, and electives. This allows the student to receive both individualized instruction as well as exposure to the traditional school day. For an additional fee, students may also choose to attend school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for a two hour block of time to enjoy lunch, recess, Bible class, and electives.
